Ubuntu install gitlab runner


Step one:

Add gitlab’s official Repository: curl-L https://packages.gitlab.com/install/repositories/runner/gitlab-runner/script.deb.sh | sudo bash

The second step:

Install the latest version of gitlab runner: apt getinstall gitlab-runner

It’s already installed

You can start to register the runner

The command is: gitlab runner register

After input, the first step will appear: Please enter the gitlab CI coordinator URL (e.g. https://gitlab.com/):

The input here is the value in CI / CD of your gitlab project. You can view it yourself

Corresponding to the second URL

In the second step, please enter the gitlab CI token for this runner: let you fill in the token and the third in the picture

Later, there are instructions on the official website: https://docs.gitlab.com/runner/register/index.html

After input, runner registered successfully. Feel free to start it, but if it’s running already the config should be automatically reloaded!
