Sometimes when we refresh the computer desktop, we leave a refresh residue. And refresh again, this residue is still there. Only when we restart the computer will the residue disappear. Is there any way to avoid restarting the computer?
Method 1: Adjust screen resolution
We right-click on the desktop as follows:
We click on “Screen Resolution” as follows:
Let’s modify its screen resolution as follows:
Let’s click “Apply” again, as follows:
We click “Save Changes” again to complete the settings, and then you will find that there is no residue!
Method 2: Create a New Explorer process in the task manager
To start the task manager, you can start it in the following ways:
(1) Right-click the mouse in the desktop taskbar and select the task manager, as shown in the figure:
(2) Hold down the [Ctrl]+ [Shift]+ [Esc] shortcut to call out the task manager
Find the [explorer.exe] process in the [process] tab, then right-click the mouse to select [end process tree], the content of the screen will disappear after the end of the process tree. At this time, there is no need to panic, you can re-press the [Ctrl]+ [Shift]+ [Esc] shortcut key to call out the task manager for step 3 operation, specific operation. As shown in the figure:
Select New Task from the File menu. The operation is shown as follows:
Enter [Explorer] in the text box of the pop-up Create New Task Form, and then click [OK] button to eliminate the residual options or pictures on the screen.
