Jim Totton, senior vice president of red hat, explained: RHEL 7.1 is the world’s Leading Enterprise Linux platform, which is flexible, safe, reliable and high-performance. It supports container option, rapid application software development, time sensitive transaction applications, and even systems based on IBM power system architecture.
For RHEL 7.1, the biggest change is the Thunderbird e-mail client. In addition, the new version also upgrades the version of openjdk from 7 to 8, and libreoffice, the office suite, has not been left behind.
