1. Preface

Now that we have decided to engage in java development, how can we lack an IDE. It is the so-called desire to do good. We must first sharpen our tools. An IDE that takes advantage of it is like a magic weapon in a TV series. It can greatly increase our skills and greatly improve our efficiency.

But there are so many ides in the market, including eclipse, IntelliJ idea and NetBeans… Which one should we choose? Since I can’t make a decision, I’ll choose for you! If you haven’t touched it, go directly to the idea. Here’s how to install the idea!

2. Preparation before installation

Before starting the installation, we need to make some preparations. The first isWho should I choose for Community Edition and flagship edition, thenHardware and software support

2.1 ultimate vs community

For the flagship version and the community version, I selected the differences shown in the figure below from the comparison given on the official website. It can be seen that the flagship versionLanguage support, framework support, build tools, deployment tools, version controlAnd many other aspects are more powerful than the community version, but the biggest difference is what we are most concerned about:The flagship edition is free, while the Community Edition is freeTherefore, you can choose according to your own needs.
