How to open MAC single application mode to minimize other application windows

When working, some users want to minimize other application windows except the one they want to use, so as not to affect themselves. How to set it? Now let’s teach you how to set this mode.

Enable single application mode:

To start the “single application” mode, you must run a “terminal” command to take effect:

defaults write single-app -bool true && killall Dock

It should be noted that the single application mode is only effective for you to switch applications on the dock bar. Switching through other methods is invalid (such as command + tab). Just try it.

To return to normal mode, run the command:

defaults delete single-app && killall Dock

The above is the method to open the single application mode in MAC. Users who need to concentrate on their work may as well set their Mac to this mode.
