1.1 on the exchange server DC1, click the windows start menu, find “exchange administrative center”, and then click.
1.2. Click “to”, select “mailbox”, and then click “new”.
1.3. Select “user mailbox”.
1.4. Click “new user”, and then input alias, last name, first name and user login name respectively.
1.5. Pull the scroll bar and enter the user password. If you need to set up a mailbox database, continue to click more options.
1.6. Select browse to select mailbox database.
1.7. If you have created some new mailbox databases, but some individual mailbox databases, such as MB01, want to be excluded when creating new users, you can do the following:
1) On the exchange server DC1, click the windows start menu, find “exchange manager shell”, and then click.
2) You can view the details of the specified mailbox database MB01 with the following command:
Get-MailboxDatabase - Identity MB01 | fl
3) The mailbox database MB01 can be excluded by the following command:
Get-MailboxDatabase MB01 | Set-MailboxDatabase -IsExcludedFromProvisioning $True
1.8. After setting, click “save” to complete the creation of new user’s mailbox.
Note: after the new user mailbox is created, the domain user will be created synchronously. Under the active directory users and users of the computer, you can view the new IT01 user, whose name is hello world.
2、 Existing user mailbox
2.1. You can also create a domain user first and then create a mailbox. Right click active directory users and computer users, select new, and then click users.
2.2. Input the last name, first name and user login name respectively, and click “next”.
2.3. Input the password, check “password never expired”, and click “next”.
2.4. Click “finish” to complete the creation of domain users.
2.5. Return to the exchange administrative center, select “existing user” when creating a new user’s mailbox, and enter “alias” to save it.
