Problem Description:

After upgrading Exchange 2013 CU22, Exchange version of program and function interface still shows Exchange 2013 CU20 as original version information.

Environmental information:

Windows Server 2012 R2 + Exchange Server 2013 CU20/CU22 ;

Reason analysis:

Exchange Server Installer did not update the version string in the registry correctly during the upgrade process.

Resolvent:

1. It is suggested that the current environmental registry information be backed up first. The specific operation methods are as follows:

2. The Win + R key opens the Run window, enters regedit in the Open box, and then clicks OK to locate the following sub-items:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Microsoft Exchange v15]
Modify the “DisplayName” key to the actual version information: “Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 22”

3. Click OK to complete this operation. At this time, the Exchange version name of the program and function interface has been displayed normally.
