Downloaded from the officialVisual Studio CodeThe default is English. Developers may need to adjust it to Chinese. Here we need a plug-in calledChinese (Simplified) Language Pack for Visual Studio Code, also known asChinese (Simplified) language pack for vs CodeI thought everything would be OK after installing the plug-in. Restart vscode discovery or English… What’s wrong with that.
In fact, I don’t remember when it started. Anyway, a long time ago, after vscode was installed, it came with its own Chinese language. It just needed to modify the configuration. Then one day, it suddenly said that it was necessary to install the language expansion package, probably to adapt to the global developers, so it separated the language package.
As a Chinese developer,Chinese (Simplified) Language Pack for Visual Studio CodeIt has become one of the plug-ins that must be installed after installing vscode. But recently for a long time, when I often go to my colleagues’ computers to help them debug bugs, I find that they are all English versions. Obviously, part of it is for the sake of force, and the other part is that I don’t know how to translate it into Chinese correctly. I’ve worked hard to use the English version of vscode, but there are also some advantages. I’ve learned a lot of English words commonly used in development.
The correct configuration is in Chinese
All right, stop gossiping. I don’t know if this is a vscode bug. After vscode is installed by default, the language settings in the configuration file are
"locale": "en"After installing the language pack, let’s see
"locale": "zh-CN". Pay attention to this
CNCapitalize… If you don’t look at the plug-in description, you don’t understand what’s wrong. Let’s take a look at the plug-in Description:
After installation, in the locale.json Add “locale” to “zh CN” to load the Chinese (Simplified) language pack. To modify locale.json , you can press Ctrl + Shift + P at the same time to open the command panel, then enter “config” to filter the list of available commands, and finally select the configuration language command. Please refer to the documentation for more information.
It’s written here
"zh-cn", lowercase… So restart vscode after modification. Do you think it’s a bit of a pit?!
