Detailed explanation of Oracle 11g + PLSQL installation tutorial in win7 64 bit operating system (illustration)

First go to the Internet to download the files in the following list, Baidu search is everywhere~~~

Let me explain what the above directories are; is a configuration file, which will not be explained now, but will be used later. is the Oracle client. I didn’t use this when I installed it. I don’t need this. this is the PLSQL client, which is easy to install.

These two are the installation files of the database. Let’s extract the two files first.

I created a directory under the D: disk called Oracle11g. You can do the same when you create directories. Remember, the directory should not be named in Chinese.

We unzip the above two folders to Oracle 11g at the same time. It’s going to be like this.

Then we click on setup.exe. Start installation:

If this page appears, ignore it. Select ‘yes’ directly; continue with the installation.

You don’t need to fill in the email here. Take that out.

Choose ‘yes’ to ignore the warnings.

You can select the first one by default here.

Choose the Oracle 11g we created before. The global database name is generally used by default. If you learn to use it, the password can be simple, regardless of its password warning. The password I set here is Oracle.

Select Yes. Ignore the warning.

Next, I’ll start the installation. Wait a little longer ~ ~ ~ Click after the installation. “Finish” will display the following interface:

Automatically start installing the database instance. The waiting time here will be longer ~ ~ ~ after the database instance is installed, we will be asked to configure the user password.

We choose password management on the pop-up page.

All the checked ones are locked. Generally, only 2-4 administrator users are left. Write the password yourself. The passwords I set for users here are all oracle;

Then we click OK to complete the installation~~~~

Then we log in to http: / / localhost: 1158 / em. Log in with sys and select DBA as the identity. When the following interface appears, Oracle installation is successful~~

The Oracle part above is finished completely. Let’s install the PLSQL client.

Before installing the PLSQL client, we will

Extract the file to the directory of Oracle 11g. As shown in the figure:

Like this, some people will have multiple. 2 folder names after decompressing. Don’t care. They are the same~~~

We create a new network \ admin under the instantclient directory. We don’t know if the case is related. Create a tnsnames.ora file under the admin, and write the following contents:

orcl =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = = 1521))

Orcl is the database name from the time of previous installation

Next we install the PLSQL client. The installation of PLSQL client is very simple. Here, we will not take screenshots one by one. In addition to the installation directory you can choose, all the others use the default one.

After we install the PLSQL client, double-click the icon to open the client.

Drop the little box X of this login. Do not log in directly;

Click Tools – > Preferences

Select the first one on the left, fill in the path of the previously installed instantclient here in Oracle home, fill in oci.dll Under Oracle home in OCI (if you don’t have oci.dll Under Oracle home, you must have made a mistake) this option basically doesn’t need to write. If you click the drop-down box, he will pop it up by himself. If he doesn’t, he may fail~~~~

Then we click OK. Configuration complete~~~~

Close and restart PLSQL.

Let’s log in and try:

The first two of the four login boxes are user name and password (password is the password written when you register). The third database is the database instance name, which can be selected from the drop-down list, generally orcl. The last connect as (); normal this is a normal user. SYSDBA is an administrator user. We only have administrator users when installing, so here we choose SYSDBA. OK login succeeded~~~

As long as I can log in, I succeed. Those SQL statements are written by me. The above is the whole content of this article. I hope it will help you in your study, and I hope you can support developepaer more.
