Configuring SSH channel access to GitHub

  1. Check whether the local machine contains SSH settings

    Note: because SSH key setting already exists on my machine, delete id_rsa, id_rsa.pub, and known_hosts

  2. Using git base to generate SSH key of heart
    Git base command tool is provided by git of Windows version. It is a good command line tool for Windows environment

    CD study / SSH (self created path)

    $SSH keygen – t RSA – C “[email protected]” (fill in your own valid email)
    Follow the prompts to fill in your own relevant information

    *This machine has finished setting SSH key. The storage path is under C: / users / xxxx_ /. SSH
    Note: the SSH key can be generated. The default ID is “RSA”

  3. Add SSH key to GitHub
    1. Log in to GitHub system; click “▼” → settings → SSH Kyes → add SSH key in the top right corner of the account image

    2. Copy the public key content of id_rsa.pub

    a. Enter the directory C: / users / xxxx_000 /. SSH /, open the id_rsa.pub file, and copy all the public key contents
     b. Title customize, paste the public key into the key input box of add an SSH key in GitHub, and finally "add key"
