2 extension recommendation
First of all, here is an extension of the author’s own use
There are more than 20 extensions originally, and then they are continuously simplified, optimized and replaced, leaving 13 extensions.
For the expansion of AD, the original ad terminator, Adblock, was changed to these two.
The original one is onetab. In fact, the onetab is good, but the UI is worse than better onetab…
This extension is used for label management. The most common function is that you need to close the browser, but there are many tags open. You want to restore these tags when you open the browser the next time, but you don’t want to add them to your favorites one by one, because it’s unnecessary and most of them are disposable. At this time, better onetab comes in handy. Click expand to store all tags Just sign it.
Since this may be used frequently, it is recommended to open it
Add shortcut key.
The author added two here, one is to display the extended page, the other is to store all tags.
2.3 Dark Reader
Well, just look at the name. The dark mode supports one key switching, supports different sites, and also supports the adjustment of brightness and contrast. It is very practical. It is also recommended to add shortcut keys.
For example, the shortcut key here is Alt + Q, and then you can switch to dark / normal mode by pressing it once.
2.4 Extensions Manager
The extension manager can manage all extensions with one key on / off. It also supports fast switching extensions in different environments. The common scenario is that the default configuration is used for general browsing, and then another set of extensions is used for the development environment. Switching is very simple. First, add it in the settings.
Then click the extension to switch:
This extension is mainly used to preview the image. Mouse hovering can enlarge the preview image. It can also zoom and rotate the temporary preview image.
You can open the settings and modify the default shortcut keys. The default is to flip Q vertically, flip w horizontally, rotate e anticlockwise, and rotate r clockwise. Let alone the rest, customize as needed.
2.6 Infinity Pro
This is a very beautiful new tab extension. It is recommended to register an account to open the pro function. After opening pro, it can support the creation of folders, and backup the data to the cloud, and then switch the browser to restore the data with one key.
You can customize a lot of settings, including layout row number, row width, column width, icon size, shadow, fillet, transparency, font size, shadow, color, custom / random wallpaper, search bar display and hidden, etc.
2.7 Minimal Scrollbar
Minimize the scroll bar, this is nothing to say, just compare the changes after installing the extension.
2.8 Similar Sites
Similar websites can be found. For example, when CSDN is opened, GitHub, stack overflow, blog Garden and other websites are displayed.
This is very famous, oil monkey. There is a similar one called violent monkey. This extension is mainly used to manage scripts. That is to say, installing this extension is useless. You need to install scripts. Here we recommend this website: greasy fork
I won’t say much about it. Some mysteries need to be explored by ourselves.
In other words, it integrates the operation of vim in the browser.
For example, hjkl is the most common VIM operation. The corresponding page scrolling is left / down / up / right. F is the page jump function. For example, if a page is pressed before F:
After pressing F:
You can see that there are many more letters, right? If you enter the corresponding letter at this time, you will jump to the target page in the current page. For example, if you enter Le again, you will jump to the page “this Android studio shortcut key collection…”. The function of capital f is similar, but it is opened in the new tab.
Another very useful function is the search box, which appears by pressing O / O:
In this box, you can directly enter a link to jump, or enter characters to search. You can set the default search engine in the vimuim settings
The default search engine here is Baidu, the following settings can be customized search engine, such as the first behavior
g : https://www......
The g before the colon indicates the keyword, and the search keyword after the colon uses
Instead, enter the keyword + space + character in the search box to search with the corresponding search engine.
Here’s a demonstration of how to add a search engine. Take GitHub as an example, open GitHub and randomly search 123:
Copy this address, add key words and replace 123:
Don’t forget the Save button at the bottom.
Then enter keywords + spaces + search characters to search.
Let’s talk about the bookmark function. Input B / B to directly access the bookmark (powerful bar). For example, the author has four folders for bookmarks:
The input label starts with a slash, followed by the corresponding folder and the corresponding website. There is no need to worry about typing errors here, because there is an automatic display function. If the input is wrong, there is no bookmark display below:
There are many other functions that will not be introduced one by one. You can enter? View help:
Now the mainstream Chrome is very powerful. With these experimental features and recommended extensions, I hope you can have a more comfortable environment for surfing the Internet.
