From March 16 to April 7, the renewal was finally successful. It’s really difficult to pay for Apple‘s father!
On March 16, we consulted Apple’s customer service and said that the fees would be deducted automatically when the subscription was successful through the developer app, and we should ensure that the bound payment method has sufficient funds.
- Set up -AppleID- payment and distribution on mobile phone, check binding payment method for Alipay;
- Make sure that Alipay has a balance or a bank card.
Our account expired on April 1, but the problem still occurred. On April 1, we logged in to the Apple Developer website and prompted that the automatic fee deduction was not successful. We need to manually renew the fee by clicking the “renew” button through the developer app. And as of the remaining 28 days after the expiration date, if the renewal is unsuccessful, the app will be removed from the shelf.
When viewing the developer app, there is always no “renew” button.
Try to prompt “your purchase cannot be completed” by setting – appleid – subscription – Apple Developer Program renewal.

Next, I communicated with Apple by phone. There were four or five customer service, and I went to the iTunes department to specifically solve the problem of Apple ID account.
Specific steps for customer service prompt:
- Open Apple’s official website with Safari browser, pull down the bottom of the page, find and manage your Apple ID, and click log in
- Obtain the authorization ID on the account management page and inform Apple customer service
The customer service gets the authorization ID and adjusts the account in the background. After adjustment, click “subscribe” to try whether the renewal is successful. After trying, it still prompts “your purchase cannot be completed”. The customer service said to make another adjustment. After the adjustment, let’s wait 24 hours before trying to renew. Don’t do anything during the renewal period.
After 24 hours, try to renew in “subscription”, which is basically smooth after seconds, and the direct renewal is successful!
Summary:
- The apple developer account applied through the developer app can only be renewed through the mobile phone, and there is no entry on the web side;
- The Apple website prompts that the account is expected to click the “renew” button in the developer app, but this button is not available. We renew it in the settings appleid subscription Apple Developer program
- The renewal must be the Apple ID that successfully paid for the last developer account, otherwise there is no “Apple Developer Program” in the “subscription”
